Regarding Bodhisattvas of the Earth, President Ikeda also said, “Humanity today lacks hope and vision for the future. It is for preciously this reason that the Bodhisattvas of the Earth have appeared. Without your presence, the future of humanity would be bleak and spiritual decline its destination” (July 12, 1996 World Tribune, p. 13).
