Serious topics indeed. There are events taking place right now that are forever changing this world. And its not for the better, in equal comparison. I’m not one to turn a blind eye, nor can I sit back and be selfish. Going out and speaking on these topics and helping publish encouraging messages is my commitment for as long as it takes.
BTW, I love the squirrel pic. Certainly can’t blame them for this mess that many people allow to remain. (to the squirrel) Yeah, little fella you have a measure of bliss in all the noise.
Doing things that in some way impact for the better those challenging things listed above is good for world improvement. Sincere concern for fellow earthlings urges such oneness.
It brings to mind the words of FDR:
“We cannot be content, no matter how high that general standard of living may be, if some fraction of our people–whether it be one-third or one-fifth or one-tenth–is ill-fed, ill-clothed, ill housed, and insecure.”
- Franklin Delano Roosevelt
That quote was posted earlier and seemed to be understood and somewhat favored. Perhaps it yet hasn't rung as wisdom to some. Roosevelt's expression of “our people” is the real issue. Which, personally, I apply to every life-sustaining person on earth.
I don't like watching the news so much….puts my mind at…well, unrest.
I can understand that feeling. If I don't know whats going on with fellow earthlings world wide it puts my mind at unrest.
We are living in really interesting times.
We need more squirrel amdassadors, that's all there is to it!!
Squirrels rock!
I agree, we really need to create some stillness.
That said, I've put a limit on my own news intake (TV anyway) the past few days, as it's been putting my mind at unrest. Too much unrest all at once can sometimes send me into a whirlwind…am recovering from the edge of one of those now.
Stillness would be nice.
You know what I'd rather do
Than watch TV or read the news?
I'd rather sit here with all of you
