I am writing an international Best Seller right now…. your gonna LOVE it..

I'm on my third draft of a novel set in St. Petersburg in Russia and to be honest when I wrote it I was seriously astonshed - the words just came out of nowhere - like a bat out of hell or as my dad would say like fango - you know the ancient italian (?) Formula 1 guy in the 60s (?). It's not about blood, sweat or tears it's a hell of a lot of FUN! Everyday I would rush to the computer, I would get into a mildly miserable rage if I couldn't write for one day! I think it all started from reading a great book about writing - Becoming a Writer by Dorothea Brande - it's ancient but really wonderful - or I should say inspiring! If you're really ready to settle down for a couple hours a day and just get down to it - read this it's fantastic.

As an aside I found this book second hand - and like most second hand books there is always a story, an inscription and in this one the inscription reads:
